As a trusted partner in the Chattanooga legal community, George Hixson focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and probate; commercial, retail and residential real estate; leasing, sales and acquisitions; financing and loans; development and title law; and general business law. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association and the Chattanooga Bar Association. He currently serves on the Chattanooga Bar Association Board of Governors.
He is a graduate of the Baylor School, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. He practiced as a Certified Public Accountant before attending law school, and his talents include strong negotiation skills, a compassionate nature, and a long history of trust, diligence and respect among his clients, peers and friends.
Outside of his law practice, George volunteers his time, his passion, and his experience in tax, real estate and estate planning to assist where needed in several local organizations. He is a long-time member of the St. Elmo Methodist church.
